Talking Food's founder, Elke, began her career over 40 years ago when she trained as a chef. On leaving college she took up a fast track management role with Pepsico, progressed to Hilton Hotels as a foodservice manager, spent 11 years in B&I operations, then sales, before migrating to business development for a food manufacturer, and finally working for a flavour house, developing new business for accounts such as Diageo and British Bakeries, before being made redundant, freelancing, and setting up Talking Food in 2010. After such an extensive career Elke's network and experience means the Talking Food team has an enviable understanding of the foodservice industry and its intricacies.
